2010 Mock Draft Champions

Written by Will Spencer on May 10, 2010

For the second year in a row, Rob Engle and I put our heads together to come up with a 1 round mock draft and a top 100 overall players list for a scoring competition organized by our friends at The Huddle Report. This year, our efforts paid off in a big way. We hit 11 total picks in the first round, including the first 7 in a row! We were also one of the few mock drafts out there that had Tyson Alualu as a first round pick, which sealed the victory. See the complete mock draft by clicking here. Our mock scored better than other big name analysts like Mel Kiper and Rick Gosselin. Listed below are the results of the scoring. Be sure to check out The Huddle Report for the full listing!

Spencer and Engle – Draft Breakdown – 50 points
Dan Kadar – Mocking the Draft – 49 points
Mel Kiper – ESPN – 48 points
Rick Gosselin – Dallas Morning News – 45 points
Scott Wright – Draft Countdown – 39 points
Chris Stueber – Scout.com – 38 points
Pat Kirwan – NFL.com – 37 points
