The last thing the Cleveland Browns want to see at the close of minicamp is an injury to their prized No. 1 pick from the 2017 NFL Draft, Myles Garrett.
Unfortunately, they’re seeing it.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Garrett suffered an injury to his left foot in Wednesday’s practice and was a no-show for Thursday’s session. All indications are that he’ll be OK, but any time the top pick in the draft is injured in practice, the football world stops spinning.
This is especially true in the Browns’ universe, where fans and coaches are hanging their hopes on Garrett becoming the face of the defense and a force that opposing offenses will struggle to contain. Barring any setbacks or new revelations, Garrett should be good to go for training camp.
