Why Marcus Martin Deserves More Attention

Marcus Martin has played on the offensive line at USC for three seasons. Despite having the experience that comes with 33 college starts, Martin will only be 20 years old come the start of his rookie season.

Additionally, the young pivot has played multiple positions along the line: in 2011 and 2012, Martin played guard; this past season, the switch was made to center. All the while, Martin continued to mature physically and athletically throughout.

Once hyped as the next big thing, Logan Thomas is now readily dismissed by a number of analysts.

After two very up & down seasons, it’s understandable why the excitement about the VaTech QB’s declined, but much of what’s said by his most ardent critics simply isn’t accurate.

The physical tools that once intrigued so many didn’t disappear — Thomas still possesses the ability to be an NFL quarterback, and a good one too.
