Aaron Hernandez
TE – Florida Junior 6’2″ 252 lbs
Florida’s star tight end made it official today and declared for the 2010 NFL Draft. Hernandez had a tremendous junior season and was the leading receiver for the Gators and a favorite target of quarterback Tim Tebow. While the talent of Hernandez can’t be ignored, he is graded to be a second round pick, and possibly the second tight end drafted after Oklahoma’s Jermaine Gresham, even though Gresham missed his senior season with a knee injury.

Jason Pierre-Paul
DE – South Florida Junior 6’5″ 263 lbs
South Florida stand out defensive end has declared for the NFL Draft. Pierre-Paul is a physically talented, but a bit raw as a football player. Jason was a transfer from a junior college to South Florida and out played fellow defensive end George Selvie this season. Due to his tremendous physical abilities and an outstanding season, Pierre-Paul will more than likely be a first round pick in April.

Dominique Franks
CB – Oklahoma Junior 6’0″ 192 lbs
ESPN’s Joe Schad is reporting that Oklahoma cornerback Dominique Franks is entering the NFL Draft. Franks initially said that he would return for the 2010 season, but has changed his mind. Franks is a very solid corner and could possibly be the second cornerback taken after Florida’s Joe Haden. Due to the talent along the defensive line this season, the 2nd corner taken in the draft might not be until the end of round one, or possibly round two. We’ll have a full scouting report of Franks up soon.

Thaddeus Gibson
DE – Ohio State Junior 6’2″ 240 lbs
ESPN is reporting that Ohio State defensive end Thaddeus Gibson is declaring for the NFL Draft. Gibson has played both outside linebacker and most recently, defensive end for the Buckeyes. His size is better suited for a 3-4 OLB in the NFL or possibly a 4-3 OLB. Given his recent play as a pass rusher, expect Gibson to be worked out as a 3-4 OLB in drills.
