Day 3 of Senior Bowl week saw the final full-pad practices for both the North and South squads, as players on both sides had their final opportunity to show their stuff at full speed before Saturday’s game.
One thing that stood out to me on Thursday was the difference in intensity between the two practices. The North team’s morning practice seemed more subdued and laid back compared to the day before, while the South team was very vocal, the tempo was noticeably faster, and the vibe of their afternoon session was noticeably more upbeat.
Here are the players who stood out to me from both squads today.
At linebacker, Texas’ Jordan Hicks and USC’s Hayes Pullard flashed early and often. Hicks showed great instincts and discipline in coverage, snatching an interception during 1-on-1 drills, while Pullard continues to prove himself as a balanced player who is athletic (read more…)
