Senior cornerback Chimdi Chekwa of Ohio State has received the Bronko Nagurski Defensive Player of the Week award. Chimdi intercepted two passes, broke up two passes and made six tackles in Ohio State’s win over Miami.
The Bronko Nagurski Trophy will be presented to the best defensive player in college football on Dec. 6. Last year, Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh was the recipient of the end of season award.
