Donald Butler

Donald Butler has received the FWAA/Bronko Nagurski Defensive Player of the week award. Butler and the entire Huskies defense came up big in a huge win over #3 USC on Saturday. The 6’1″ 235 lbs linebacker led the way, recording 12 tackles, a forced fumble and an interception in the 16-13 upset victory. Ten of Butler’s 12 tackles were solo and he also broke up a pass to help the Huskies control the high powered Trojan offense.
The Bronko Nagurski Trophy will be presented to the best defensive player in college football on Dec. 7. Last season, Texas DE Brian Orakpo was the recipient of the end of season award.

Will is the founder and President of Draft Breakdown & has been scouting draft prospects since 2002.
