33. St. Louis Rams
Arrelious Benn – WR – Illinois
Scouting Report
The Rams have practically nothing at the wide receiver position, so they need to give their new quarterback some tools.
34. Detroit Lions
Jahvid Best – RB – California
Scouting Report
Detroit finally has some play makers on both sides of the ball, but need some explosiveness from their running back position.
35. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Golden Tate – WR – Notre Dame
Scouting Report
Tampa let Antonio Bryant leave in free agency and while this team has a lot of needs, they need a reliable target for their young quarterback.
36. Kansas City Chiefs
Rodger Saffold – OT – Indiana
Kansas City passed on the top tackles in the first round, but Saffold should be able to play right tackle for them, keeping Albert on the left side.
37. Philadelphia Eagles
Kareem Jackson – CB – Alabama
Scouting Report
It’s tragic that Jackson falls this far because he has first rounder written all over him. However, Philly doesn’t mind as they now have someone to play opposite Samuel.
38. Cleveland Browns
Colt McCoy – QB – Texas
Scouting Report
Ideal fit for the Browns! Don’t be surprised to see the Browns trade up to grab McCoy in the bottom of round 1. They have the picks to do it.
39. Oakland Raiders
Bruce Campbell – OT – Maryland
Scouting Report
Even Al Davis knows that Campbell isn’t worth a first round pick, but he can’t resist him here.
40. San Diego Chargers (from Seattle)
Terrence Cody – DT – Alabama
Scouting Report
Cody would be an instant starter at NT for the Chargers.
41. Buffalo Bills
Tim Tebow – QB – Florida
Scouting Report
The speculation about Buffalo liking Tebow is true! Just not in the first round…
42. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (from Chicago)
Everson Griffen – DE – USC
Scouting Report
Tampa brought in Gerald McCoy in the first round and now they grab a nice edge rusher to go with him.
43. Denver Broncos (from Miami)
Damian Williams – WR – USC
Scouting Report
Letting Marshall go, they need to bring in another wide receiver to keep their offense rolling.
44. New England Patriots (from Jacksonville)
Thaddeus Gibson – DE/OLB – Ohio State
New England is in dire need of an outside edge rusher. Gibson is a bit taller than some of the first round pass rushers, which is something that the Patriots covet.
45. Denver Broncos
Rob Gronkowski – TE – Arizona
Scouting Report
The Broncos continue to fill the holes made through their trades and now they find the replacement for Scheffler.
46. New York Giants
Sean Lee – ILB – Penn State
Scouting Report
The Giants were unable to get their top target, Rolando McClain, in the first round but have to address the inside backer position.
47. New England Patriots (from Tennessee)
Aaron Hernandez – TE – Florida
Scouting Report
New England has only one tight end of their roster, and a field stretcher like Hernandez helps their receiving issues too much to pass up.
48. Carolina Panthers
Lamarr Houston – DT – Texas
Scouting Report
Carolina has to make the most of their picks and they have zero inside pass rush. Houston hits the gaps very quickly.

Love the Alualu pick. Had him in the first in a couple of mine, and I think Daryl Washington is a really good darkhorse for that pick. Koa Misi and Linval Joseph are two other guys I could see “surprising” with an appearance in the first.

i cant imagine Cincy passing Bryant for a TE. if he isn’t there then i can understand, I know cincy hasn’t had a good TE but it just doesn’t add up..

Great draft. I checked out the huddle report and no wonder your draft got a good score. You really nailed the top 7 picks and had a good start to the second round as well. Nice job.
