Current team needs are as follows:

1. ILB - Corey Mays and Demorrio Williams are not starting quality LBs in the NFL. Backup and special teamers, sure, but they should be nowhere near the top of the depth chart. You can't win if you can't stop the run, and we can't stop the run.

2. Interior OL - RG and C have been trouble spots for a while.

3. OLB - We need someone opposite Tamba Hali to rush the passer. Our sack totals the last two years have been abysmal.

4. S - Morgan and Page would make a solid S duo, but I'm not sure either will be starting next year. If they're not, S jumps just under ILB on the needs list.

5. WR - Bowe is still developing and I'm confident he can be a #1 in the NFL, but I have no idea if Chambers will be re-signed. If not, WR becomes a glaring weakness on this team.

good analysis. What do you think will happen with Chambers and Bowe? There were talks that Bowe was on the trading block last year, but if they lose Chambers, I don't see how they could afford to lose Bowe as well

I think Bowe is safe and I have a feeling in my gut that Chambers will be re-signed. Signing Charlie Weis has to have a lot of these offensive guys happier than they've been in a while, so I think more will opt to stay with the team and see how things progress rather than bail.

I don't foresee Bowe being traded unless it's a draft-day deal, maybe to the Ravens or Dolphins.
