Reports are indicating that Ole Miss QB Jevan Snead will pass up his senior season to enter the 2010 NFL Draft. All we have to say is, why? Snead came into the 2009 college football season a hot name after a tremendous sophomore season, but his junior year has been, to be nice, less than stellar. Snead struggled in most games this year and with two big name junior QBs already declaring for the draft (Bradford and Clausen), most thought that Snead would stay for his senior season.

Snead has an awful lot to prove if he wants to climb draft boards over the next few months. I’d rate him as a 3rd round draft pick as of right now. I am, however, curious as to what rating the NFL Draft Advisory Board gave Snead to influence his decision.
