Explanation of Player Grading System

 

The Breakdown

Clayborn is set to have a tremendous senior season. Excellent against both the run and the pass, Clayborn has it all. He isn’t a speed rusher but knows how to use his hands and has a pretty wide array of pass rush moves. He’s versatile enough to play 4-3 defensive end in the NFL but could possibly play the 5-technique as well.

Saw minor game experience during 2007 season and began starting during 2008 season, in which he started 11 games. Started every game in the 2009 season.

Missed one half vs. Indiana in 2008 with unknown injury.
