The Breakdown
Heyward is looking to have a solid senior outing in 2010 and needs to show more consistency in his games. At times, he appears to be dominate along the defensive line and at other times, he appears only average. Heyward is a versatile defensive lineman, able to line up at defensive tackle and defensive end in a 4-3 as well as play a 5-technique defensive end in a 3-4 defense. Heyward has excellent strength and knows how to use his hands. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that he has NFL bloodlines.
