The Breakdown
Sturdivant is one of several talented defenders for North Carolina this season. However, he may be the most aggressive of the bunch. Quan relies on his instincts more than his linebacker corps team mate, Bruce Carter, but he doesn’t possess the strength that Carter does. Quan may see that he’ll fit in best as a 3-4 inside backer in the NFL and not a true “mike” backer.

Experience
Saw playing time in every game as a freshman and started five of those games. Became a full-time starter at outside linebacker as a sophomore and has started ever since. Began starting at inside linebacker in his junior season.
