Kendall Wright
|
Summary
Kendall Wright is a quick and explosive receiver that will make an immediate impact for an NFL team. Elusive when the ball is in his hands, he’s a terror after the catch. He has the speed to be a deep threat but the overall athleticism and short area quickness to be an effective slot receiver. Wright produced at a high level during his four seasons at Baylor, leading the team in receiving each year.
Strengths
Elusive and has tremendous short area quickness. Has long speed to match and his playing speed is even faster than his 4.44 40 yard dash. Fluid route runner that seems like a natural in and out of his breaks. Consistently catches with his hands, plucking the ball from the air and tucking it away. A legit homerun threat. Aggressive and fiery, doesn’t shy away from contact and won’t back down when fighting for the ball. Provides special teams abilities as well.
Weaknesses
Short for the position at just over 5’10″ tall. Has had his share of injuries but was able to play through them. It’s unclear if at his size/weight if he’ll be able to hold up as well in the NFL.
