Kalil is the top offensive lineman in this class and one of the top overall players (#5 on our big board). Extremely athletic (4.99 40-yard dash) and blessed with an ideal frame and bloodlines (brother Ryan plays center for the Panthers), Kalil is a plug-and-play prospect who should protect the blindside for an NFL franchise for 10+ years. Kalil is one of the most complete offensive lineman I’ve seen in the past few drafts. He will consistently beat defenders with technique, quickness, power and intelligence and will be selected in the top five picks in the NFL Draft.

Sound technician. As fluid of an athlete as I’ve seen at offensive tackle. Ability to locate defenders at the second level. Fires off the snap with authority. Handles speed rushers on the outside with ease. Powerful. Excellent balance. Elite pass protector. Quick feet. Mirrors defenders with ease. Strong punch. Long arms. Gets excellent depth on kick step. Very smooth and doesn’t waste movement. Natural flexibility. Scheme versatile.

May need to add some weight to his lower half to handle stronger bull rushers. Footwork needs minor upgrade (width of base inconsistent). Doesn’t overwhelm defenders in the run game.
