Eric Stoner: A tall, wiry pocket passer that has the type of arm coaches dream of. Still learning the craft of playing quarterback. Has some issues with stride length and will occasionally shift his weight backwards upon release. Eye level is very good, and he will hang in the pocket while under duress to find a target (he does need to speed up his decision making, however). Loves to take shots in the intermediate and deep areas of the field, but his placement can get wild while throwing over the middle. Trusts his arm a little too much at this point, and is still learning the craft of the position – however, I like the overall aggressive nature of his decision making and his toughness in the pocket. Very thin and has missed time due to injuries. Poised for a breakout junior campaign and is throwing to arguably the best wide receiver duo in the country in Justin Hunter and Da’Rick Rogers.
