Vlachos is a seasoned and gritty player who likely has too many physical limitations to succeed in the NFL. While he’s smart and plays hard, there are just too many deficiencies to spend a pick on him.

Vlachos was a 3 year starter for Alabama and has a good feel for the game. He often wins off the line of scrimmage and is able to gain leverage on defensive lineman. Vlachos has solid hand usage and has shown some ability to pull or get to the 2nd level. His hand placement is consistent and aids in him getting leverage. Vlachos plays hard and works well in tandem with guards to drive people off the ball.

Vlachos is very short, with short arms, and lacks conditioning. His lacks balance and is frequently overwhelmed by defenders at the point of attack. Vlachos is pushed back into the backfield or is taken to the ground too often. Doesn’t move well in the passing game and defenders disengage from him rather easily.
