Zebrie Sanders
|
Scouting Report written by: Andrew Parsons
Summary
Sanders is an athletic tackle prospect with the frame to bulk up. Sanders is a finesse player who lacks explosion and functional strength. However, his smoothness, ability to bend, and ability to move make him an interesting prospect.
Strengths
Sanders has an athletic frame with long arms, and an overall good build. He has experience at both offensive tackle positions. He is a very good quickness in his drop and has nimble feet. Very mobile and shows the ability to mirror speed rushers. His mobility also allows him to get to the 2nd level and he looks balanced in space.
Weaknesses
Sanders’ biggest issue is his lack on functional strength. If he isn’t the first to make contact with the defender he is very often jarred backwards. Sanders also has a happen of over extending himself and lunging at his defender. In the run game struggles to move people off the ball and defenders frequently slip his blocks.
