Strengths
Very physical receiver. Made a lot of big plays and was Jimmy Clausen’s favorite target in an offense with other talented players. Great after the catch and has a running backs mentality. Pretty good route runner but he looks stiff on some routes. Good blocker. Ran the ball from the wildcat a lot and actually showed the ability to move people. Great at the jump ball.
Weaknesses
A body catcher and does not have natural hands. Not a great athlete- pretty stiff. Potential is limited.
Analysis
Because he’s a body catcher, he probably will never be an elite number 1 target which is why his value slips to the 2nd round. Looks like a running back out of position at times. May not contribute much his first year since he isn’t a good option in the slot.
Experience
Began starting during his sophomore season.
