Strengths
Big receiver with a lot of experience. Still has potential because he was never really given a shot at Michigan do to shoddy QB play. Has decent hands and will make most catches. Good body control.
Weaknesses
Very raw and routes aren’t very tuned. Didn’t produce a lot, but again might have been because of poor QB play in a run first offense. Isn’t as physical as he should be and struggles against press coverage.
Analysis
Could be a decent pick in the later rounds and produce as a 4th wideout and play on special teams. Doesn’t have a ton of potential because he doesn’t have tools you look for in a starting wideout (besides size). Still might make some team happy in the right system (west coast, possibly). Matthews also has experience as a punt returner.
Experience
Matthews played in 49 career games and made 27 starts at wide receiver

I don’t think any Michigan fans will miss him very much.
