Strengths
Very fast and athletic pass catcher that can stretch the defense. Should be able to find the seams and get behind linebackers in coverage at the next level. Overall athletic player with a lot of upside. Not afraid of working the middle of the field and won’t get alligator arms. Does a nice job after the catch.
Weaknesses
Very raw at this point. Doesn’t appear to be a natural pass catcher as he uses his body much too often. Route running needs a lot of work and getting off of any type of jam rarely happens right now. A project. Not much of a blocker. Unsure what his dedication to football will be.
Analysis
Graham is a very raw tight end project that many are excited about. He’s athletic and a former basketball player, which will automatically draw comparisons to Antonio Gates. However, he has a lot to learn about running routes and doesn’t appear to be a natural pass catcher. He had a chance to really shine at the Senior Bowl but was unable to stand out, even among tight ends with less potential. Needs to go to a team where he won’t have to start, but could get on the field for certain packages as he will be able to stretch the field.
Experience
Has only played one year of football and was not the full-time starter in that year.
