Explanation of Player Grading System

Strengths

Good instincts. Great tackler and tackling technique. Good in pursuit and takes good angles. A solid run stopper and fights through trash well. Very productive. Durable and tied a Clemson record for never missing a game and playing in 53 games in a row.

Weaknesses

Average size and speed. Not a great pass rusher. Only average in coverage. Isn’t particularly great at any one thing. Doesn’t have a lot of potential. Can probably only play OLB in a 4-3 but might be capable of moving to an inside linebacker in a 3-4.

Analysis

Conner seems like a hard worker with decent athleticism, size, speed, and tackling ability. That will get him overlooked for some of the flashier athletes, but as a late round pick you can expect to get a solid special teamer and backup linebacker.

Experience

Conner was a two year starter at Clemson.
