The Case for Logan Thomas

Pocket Awareness & Decision-making

Pocket awareness may be Thomas’s biggest weakness.

When Thomas recognizes pressure, he does a good job of stepping up in the pocket. More so, the issue for him is not recognizing rushers, which leaves him prone to dangerous blindside hits and lost fumbles.

When making the split-second decision to run or try to pass, Thomas does not appear to favor running. Granted, it’s hard to tell with limited resources, but he is capable of winning with both his arm and his legs. Nevertheless, Thomas is able to win from the pocket, something the NFL requires QB to be able to do.
