Top Five Senior QB Rankings

Stephen Morris2. Stephen Morris (Miami)

Stephen Morris turned up at the U without a whole lot of fanfare. If he wasn’t from the area, I’m not sure he would have been on Miami’s radar, as they were really the only major school to offer him a scholarship. Since he’s arrived at Coral Gables, he’s had to fight for the starting job multiple times, eventually staking claim to the role in 2012.

Morris, like Mathews, has a great arm, but they couldn’t be more different physically. While Mathews is 6’3”, Morris looks like he could easily come in at 6’1”. Morris is also pretty thin, but unlike Mathews, his mobility’s readily apparent.

Morris’s arm and legs provide a deadly combination, as North Carolina State learned last season when he set the ACC’s single game passing record against them.

Justis started following the NFL Draft in 2006. After knee injuries ended his high school career, he focused on studying and covering the game. His obsession with quarterbacks can be blamed on the Favre and Rodgers era Green Bay Packers.
