Jones has good play quickness and acceleration. He has the speed to challenge defensive backs deep. He doesn’t run precise routes, looks more robotic in his approach. Jones does show good concentration when tracking the over the shoulder deep ball. He shows to be a sure handed receiver who catches the ball with his hands. Jones looks to be in good condition as well, in that he ran at the same pace the whole game. Jones showed to be a position blocker who can wall the defender off, but won’t over power the defender at the point of attack. He was a movable chess piece for Alabama, so he has experience in different spots of the formation. Jones shows the skill set of a special teams returner which is what he will have to do to help him make an NFL roster. .
