Pos: Strong arm; can make all the throws, Great size, Throws a very nice deep ball, Very comfortable as a pocket passer, Throws with high release point

Neg: Slipped in production and play from 13′ to 14′ (38 tds to 16), Drop back is long & time consuming, footwork is inconsistent, Somewhat of a statue in the pocket (doesn’t make any outside of it)

I disagree with your report. I didn’t think he had a great arm in this tape, you can tell that they created a system just for him. This is evident on how many short passes they did, it worked perfectly for them, but when he attempted long passes, he had to put a lot of effort into his throws.

However, he can make any crazy throws you ask him too. He can throw a deep ball, but he doesn’t have the power for it.

I think his slip in production was the loss of Brandin Cooks, he was a very integral part of their offense, when they lost him, Mannion began to lose production.

He does have a horrible pocket awareness though, when the pocket collapses, he panics and throws stupid throws or gets sacked.
