Kroft is a big pass catching tight end. Kroft can lineup on the line, in the slot and can even be seen in the backfield as an H-back or a receiver out of the backfield. Kroft is not known for his blocking but shows a willingness and a ton of effort. Against bigger linebackers and lineman he will get over extended or forced upright and beat leading to a tackle. Kroft runs good routes and has good hands and can be dependable. At times he catches off his body but can be pretty good with snatching the ball out of the air. Kroft is a good tight end and probably projects as a mid-round selection.
