I don't like Seattle's selection of Daniel Thomas. I have only seen highlight plays of him so I might be mistaken from what I about to say. Thomas is a talented RB and has put up very good stats, but he looks like he runs too upright, does not have an explosive burst or good top end speed, and is not overly elusive. Yes the Seahawks need a RB but the only RB I would consider in the 1st round right now going into the 4th week of college football is Mark Ingram. I would rather the Seahawks use a 2nd round pick on a RB. Illinois RB Mikel Leshoure would be a good selection for them in the 2nd, although by season end he might be considered a low-1st round prospect.

LB Akeem Ayers who they could possibly use as a DE, Colorado CB Jimmy Smith, DT Stephen Paea, USC DT Jurrell Casey, Florida St OG Rodney Hudson, or Florida OC Mike Pouncey (who is going to be a OG in the NFL) are all better options for the Seahawks in the 1st round.

Thats just my take as a Seahawks fan.
